SETAF - Dynamometric

Electronic Brake Drive Testing System

The Dynamometric Unit consisting of several sensors installed on the brake triangles at the wheels. These sensors measures the brake force applied from the air brake cylinders.

These sensors are interconnected by a Plug-in Cable to a "Junction Box" to apply the process signals, up to 8 (Eight) Sensors used on each SETAF

The sensors are installed individually in each triangle at the wagon wheels, replacing the Phenolic Shoes or a another type, between the wheel and phenolic shoe.

Upon the installation and connection of power and signal cables of the sensors to the SETAF, the tests can be carried out in accordance with the "AR" operating procedure for the Dynamometric Test.
